Meet Trish

Hi, I’m Trish Romano! I’m the head florist and designer at Penny Lane Blooms. My love to create and style goes all the way back to childhood, where I grew up among the fields of southern Illinois. After marrying my husband, Doug, we moved to the Missouri side of the river and raised four children together. When my daughters got married, they allowed me to do their wedding flowers, sparking a desire to do floral design full time. After quitting my job and spending hours and hours studying cut flowers, I found that there are so many benefits to growing them locally. So, I started my own micro flower farm and started designing, finding the quality of locally grown flowers far surpassing that of imported. My goal is to incorporate as many local, seasonal blooms as possible to all of my arrangements, and I hope that you’ll find these varieties as unique and fragrant as I do!
